Insurance

Please realize that dental services are provided to a person, not to an insurance company. The insurance company is responsible to the patient and the patient is responsible to us. As a courtesy to our patients, we will file insurance claims directly to your insurance and get direct payment from them. 

WE ACCEPT ALL INDEMNITY DENTAL INSURANCE PLAN

There are three major type of Dental Plan:

1. Indemnity/ Fee-for-service/Premier/ Regular- These are the regular dental plans, where you can go to ANY DENTIST and insurance will pay exact amount as the dentist fee. Best choice.
                                             
2. PPO- These are preferred providers plans, where the dentist are joined with the insurance 
companies as a preferred providers and give about 20-40% off the regular dentist fee. And your insurance will pay off the 20-40% discounted fee. You can chose any dentist within the network to get the discount or chose out of net-work and do not get the discount, but you chose and you DON'T have to be ASSIGN by your insurance company. We recomment at least a PPO plan.

3. HMO/ Managed Care- These are what we call capitation type, and you have to be ASSIGN to a dentist by your insurance company or you won't be eligible. Also your insurance pays little of none of the dental procedures. Not a good choice.
  

An indemnity plan is a fully insured or self-insured plan where an assigned payment is provided to dentists for specific services, regardless of the actual charges made by the provider. Payment may be made to enrollees in the form of reimbursement payments, or directly to dentists. Best choice.

INDEMNITY DENTAL PLANS ARE THE BEST DENTAL PLAN. (Most of ALL insurance company has indemnity/ fee-for service plan)
